Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern

Position Summary:

The Locksley Anthony Henry Scholarship Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is seeking a Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern to start immediately. The primary responsibility of the Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern is to create marketing materials such as invitations, flyers and posters. The Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern is also expected to manage the LAHSF website. The Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern will work closely with the Secretary to create and revise content as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Must be pursuing BA/BS and have at least 30 credit hours.

Must have strong design and creative skills

Must be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or another design program

Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills

Must be able to manage and coordinate projects effectively

Must be productive working alone and with a team

 

 

​Social Media Volunteer/Intern

Position Summary:

The Locksley Anthony Henry Scholarship Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is looking for a Social Media Volunteer/Intern to start immediately. The primary responsibility of the Social Media Volunteer/Intern is to develop ideas for marketing strategies to be used across distinct social media platforms. The Social Media Volunteer/Intern will work closely with the Secretary and the Graphic Design Volunteer/Intern to create and reach organizational goals. The Social Media Volunteer/Intern will be responsible for managing one specific social media platform on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Must be pursuing BA/BS and have at least 30 credit hours.

Must have strong creative skills

Must have extensive knowledge in LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as social media platforms

Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills

Must be able to manage and coordinate projects effectively

Must be productive working with a team and working alone​

 

 

Editorial Volunteer/Intern

Position Summary:

The Locksley Anthony Henry Scholarship Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is looking for an Editorial Volunteer/Intern to start immediately. The primary responsibility of the Editorial Volunteer/Intern is to develop content to be published on the foundation’s website and marketing material. The Editorial Volunteer/Intern will work closely with the Secretary and the Treasurer to choose a direction and goal for each written piece. The Editorial Volunteer/Intern will be responsible for delivering all requested content to the Director in a timely manner.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Must be pursuing BA/BS and have at least 30 credit hours.

Must have strong creative skills

Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills

Must be able to manage and coordinate projects effectively

Must be productive working with a team and working alone
